I’m Claire Wight
Certified Birth Doula & Childbirth Educator
Because Birth Works Best When You Feel Supported
Birth Support
Feel supported, educated and confident going into your birth, and leave feeling empowered.
Childbirth Education
Nothing is truly more empowering than knowing your options and feeling confident in your choices. Become educated before birth!
Birth Preferences
Your birth preferences matter. I help you clarify your wishes, understand your options, and communicate them with your care team – so you can step into birth feeling informed, confident, and supported.
Emotional & Physical Support
Birth is a journey you don’t have to walk alone. I’m here with gentle words, steady hands, and an open heart – offering comfort for your body and reassurance for your soul.
Coping Techniques
I offer practical tools and gentle guidance to help manage the intensity of labor – from breathing techniques and relaxation cues to position changes, massage, and grounding touch.
Postpartum Support
Postpartum support means having someone by your side as you navigate life with a newborn – offering a listening ear, practical help, and gentle guidance so you can rest, recover, and bond with your baby with confidence and care.
What Is a Doula?
A doula is your emotional anchor, birth cheerleader, and support expert – here to help you feel calm, confident, and empowered through every step of your journey.
Who Needs a Doula?
Anyone who wants to feel supported, informed, and truly cared for during their pregnancy and birth – no matter where or how they plan to deliver.
What is The Process Like?
We’ll begin with a free consultation – a relaxed conversation to connect, share your vision for birth, and see if we’re the right fit. From there, we’ll meet for two prenatal visits, where we’ll talk through your hopes and preferences, explore comfort techniques, and prepare both your mind and body for labor.
When you reach 37 weeks, I’ll be on call for you day and night, ready to join you whenever labor begins. From your first contraction, to your baby’s first cry, I’ll be by your side with steady emotional reassurance and hands-on physical support.
Once your baby is here, we’ll have one postpartum visit to check in, answer questions, and make sure you feel supported and cared for as you begin this new chapter.
1. Will you be on call for my birth?
Yes! I’m on-call 24/7 starting at 37 weeks until your baby is born. I’ll be available by phone or text any time you need me once you’re in labor.
2. What if my labor is really long?
I’m in it with you. I provide continuous support throughout your labor, no matter how long it takes. (Don’t worry, I bring snacks)
3. What if you can't make it to my birth?
If I can’t attend due to illness or an emergency, I’ll do my best to send a trusted backup doula. We’ll talk about backup plans ahead of time so you’re never left unsupported.
4. Do you offer postpartum visits?
Yes! I include at least one postpartum visit to check in, talk about your birth, answer questions, and support your transition into parenthood. Additional visits can be added if you’d like more support.
5. How do I book you?
You can contact me through my website to schedule a free consultation. We’ll chat about your birth plans, my services, and see if we’re a good fit!

About Me
Hi, I’m Claire, a wife, mama of two, and a doula with a deep love for all things natural and nurturing. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me soaking up time with my husband and kids, enjoying the beauty of nature, or cozying up at home with a good book (and maybe an episode of Gilmore Girls).
I believe birth is more than a physical event- it’s a profoundly spiritual, mental, and emotional journey. My goal as your doula is to hold space for you in all of those layers, offering guidance, comfort, and unwavering support as you step into your unique birth experience. I’m always learning and growing, both personally and professionally, so I can show up as the best version of myself for the families I serve.
Testimonials
“Claire was amazing! I was her first birth where she was a doula! I unexpectedly was diagnosed with preeclampsia and my MIL wasn’t in the area yet to be there. She found Claire and Claire was able to be there for my labor and delivery on such short notice! She met us at the hospital with a warm welcome and got to know us a little while we waited for the induction to start. I was 37 weeks and 1 day. Claire was supportive and knowledgeable in making suggestions as to how to help manage pain. It was great to talk to her and know someone was there for me who knew more about birth and techniques than I did. She was respectful about privacy when I wanted that. She was able to get the doctor for me when I thought I was pushing. (I was) I sooo appreciate having Claire there as a doula. She will even snap some pictures if that’s what you want! I definitely recommend having Claire as a doula!”
